Alex

Before joining Heehaw's edit team in 2020, Alex's background was primarily in creating videos for live theatre and aerial dance performances, specialising in promos advertising shows, workshops and festivals.

Alex’s time at Heehaw has brought him many new and exciting challenges, working on a diverse range of projects, including educational materials for BBC Bitesize, promotional videos for Hilton Hotels, Lee Kum Kee and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and also tackling longer-form human interest documentary work for clients like UN Women. During his time at Heehaw, Alex has discovered a particular interest in sound design. He has delved into projects that cover the full spectrum; from beefing up the impact of promotional material to more subtle applications, creating immersive soundscapes that contribute to the narrative and storytelling of a project.

When not in the office, Alex enjoys exploring music, singing baritone in a local choir. He is an amateur baker and also enjoys running, which comes in handy after sampling his wares.
