Dan

Dan is our Head of Animation and Illustration at Heehaw, directing a wide range of projects with a speciality in work that mixes live action and animation content to create hybrid video pieces.

His recent directorial work has included international video packages for Red Bull, the BBC and Lee Kum Kee, which have gone on to win multiple Scottish Design Awards and EVCOM Clarion & London Film awards.

With a background in English Literature and Design, Dan also has a particular focus on education and the arts, recently directing multiple series for National Galleries of Scotland, BBC Bitesize, and an international e-sports documentary based in Cairo for our clients Red Bull Media House.

His background in fine art, writing, and freelance animation gives him a wide skill set, covering cel animation, illustration, and VFX. Through this he is always looking to push on our animation and illustration offerings by working with the team to innovate and combine their diverse range of skills and talents to create unique, fresh, and exciting projects for our clients.
