Finance Manager

Rebecca comes from a diverse professional background, from theatre to print. As our one-woman finance function she keeps a very close eye on our figures. She helps the team with budgeting and forecasting, to make sure we always deliver value for money projects. She is available to communicate with our clients on any accounting and billing queries in order to make the financial process smoother.

Senior Editor

Mike, is a seasoned member of the team having been with us since 2016, is a versatile filmmaker with a rich background in the industry. Specialising in creating cinematic experiences that resonate with audiences, he seamlessly blends pictures, music, and sound design to bring our clients' visions to life—while ensuring his projects always coming in on time and within budget.

Production Manager

As our Production Manager Astrid is the beating heart of both our production and post-production teams, responsible for the internal allocation of new projects and our post-production schedule. From the first initial contact to job completion Astrid works closely with a project’s assigned team to ensure every stage of the campaign is delivered on time and within budget.

Head of Production

Michael heads up Heehaw’s Production department. He is a talented and capable director and executive producer who’s worked on a number of global campaigns in his time with us.

Assistant Producer

Landing her first job with us in February of 2023 as 2nd Assistant Director on our latest feature, Christmas in Scotland, Gia has stayed with us ever since, joining our production team as our newest Assistant Producer. With no task too daunting and every new job a learning opportunity, she can be trusted to get the job done. Whether that’s researching a new story, sourcing talent or finding the perfect location.

Post-Production Manager

Tom is our Post-Production Manager with over a decade of editing experience. He specialises in jobs that involve a real technical challenge and a fast turnaround. He loves the science and precision of post production. When he’s not crunching numbers or making spreadsheets, he’s a very experienced and capable editor with almost fifteen years experience across all production formats.

Producer

Kerr is one of our Producers having found his footing within the industry making adventure documentaries. Back in 2018 he travelled across Europe as part of the support team for endurance cyclist Leigh Times for his record breaking fastest cycle across Europe from west Portugal to inland Russia. All while working with the BBC to provide updates and footage for ongoing coverage.

Senior Motion Designer

Heather leads our Motion Design team as Senior Motion Designer having joined us back in 2019. Heather is a multi-talented filmmaker and has been involved in all the stages of a project often directing projects and helping with the overall design as well as animating. She has created a truly staggering amount of motion design content for clients across the world.

Head of Animation

Dan is our Head of Animation and Illustration at Heehaw, directing a wide range of projects with a speciality in work that mixes live action and animation content to create hybrid video pieces. His recent directorial work has included international video packages for Red Bull, the BBC and Lee Kum Kee.

Illustrator

Daisy is one of our illustrators who began working with us during her final years of university. Over the years we’ve seen Daisy grow, working with us on vector animated projects alongside hand drawn and even papercut styles.

Senior Animator & VFX Artist

Lawrence is just as happy working on 2D illustrative animation as he is building and comping 3D assets in advanced visual effects. With a graphic sensibility at the foundation of his skills and the drive to keep learning and pushing himself creatively, Lawrence is one of the cornerstones of our animation and VFX department.

Office Administrator

Alice joined us in 2023 as our part time office administrator. When she’s not stocking up coffee and keeping plants alive, she writes for screen. With projects in development for C4 Drama / Young Films and Compact Pictures, she is also BBC Writersroom alumni and has had work performed at Oran Mor and The Traverse.

CEO

Toby head’s up Heehaw and scripted label Nickie-Ben. As a BAFTA Cymru nominated producer, Toby has recently co-produced two scripted TV features distributed globally via Paramount, and has numerous credits in factual for broadcasters including BBC, S4C and TRT World.
